Sweet Bean bonbons are hand-crafted in a facility that processes nuts and wheat. Unless otherwise noted, our bonbons contain dairy. Colors and designs may vary from what is pictured.
Sweet Bean was launched by Bob and Kristin Barnes in 2013 as a side-hustle to their 9-5 jobs. in 2019, after 6 years of part-time chocolate making and a full-time marketing career, Kristin took the plunge and became a full-time chocolatier. Later that year, Sweet Bean participated in Season 3 of Cleveland's Chain Reaction, a local pitch competition, and was selected one of 5 finalist winners.
Sweet Bean opened its chocolate studio in Cleveland's Collinwood neighborhood in 2021 amid the pandemic. Today, a small but mighty team of creative and culinary curious individuals craft delicious bites, from bonbons to chocolate-covered 'everything' right before your eyes.
