Castile soap is made from the highly revered Extra Virgin Olive Oil. It was originally made in Castilla, Spain, where it also derived its name "Castile." Famous for being called the "Queen of Soap," it became popular among those who preferred to use soaps made from natural ingredients in order to maintain healthy skin. As a matter of fact, the royalty in Europe used Castile soap for centuries. Our Castile Bar is made with 100% First Press Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil and is fragrance free for even the most sensitive skin. This lather of this particular soap is limited as it is soap in its purest form.
